I would love to wear a wedding dress similar to this one some day.
Ditto times infinity plus one.

Mary Margret is wearing this Anthropologie flower stand dress - Available on Ebay in many sizes
Me watching Once Upon a Time usually just ends in me drooling over Mary Margaret’s many dress/cardigan combos. Oftentimes I feel like I look more like an old lady with this pairing rather than the adorableness that is Ginnifer Goodwin.

Celia was by far my favorite character in The Help. Especially as far as costumes go (although they were ALL fabulous dressers). I love her color coordination here.

Cure Thrift Shop in NYC always has the best-dressed mannequins. I need to visit next time I’m there. Hopefully they’ll be having their spectacular $1 sale!

Hey everyone!
It’s Thursday and I am shooting for ModCloth today! Hopefully you will all see those photos soon. :)
I felt pretty ballsy the other day and wore this corset to work! Crazy right? I felt like Esmerelda. This dress I got while thrifting, it is like a 3X and I loved the color so I got it anyways! It looks like it was meant to be paired with this corset. :)
This corset is so well made. It really holds me in and shows my waist. I did need some help getting it on in the morning, but it was worth it!
The light is perfect this time of day, but my hair is a mess and the backlight realllly shows that. haha oops! ;)
dress: thrifted
corset: c/o Hips and Curves
shoes: ModCloth (old)

P.S. What do you think of wearing corsets in your outfit? Too sexy?
This is a great example of how to incorporate a corset into an everyday outfit, something that I’ve very rarely seen done so tastefully and well. It looks effortless. I have a bodice that I bought on a whim at a renaissance fair and have never really considered wearing it casually. I will try pairing it with a solid-colored dress and see if it’s even remotely close to successful as this. I might just end up looking like a barmaid or something.

I’m liking this trend of a collared shirt under a sweater. I’ve tried it a few times with a red plaid shirt and a green sweater and I just feel like a Christmas tree or a lumberjack. I’ll have to find a different print to jazz it up.

Dress
Jacques Doucet, 1900-1905
Les Arts Décoratifs
In the same vein of “pretty things people don’t wear anymore,” this dress is gorgeous. I usually wouldn’t go for butterflies but the ones on this dress make it all the more attractive. Butterflies? Dragonflies? Moths? The more I look at them, the more I am unsure of what they are but I like them! I wouldn’t mind wearing dresses like this every day.
